  • When I arrived at the Thrifty counter at the Cleveland airport, the friendly man helping me told me I could find a Nissan Altima outside and take anyone I chose. Unfortunately, the only one available in my category had clearly been in an accident and nobody had bothered to repair the obvious body damage (and who knows what else?) Eventually, a different car showed up which I rented (despite the many scratches on it) and it was fine. However, I may have left a camera in the car and I tried to call the Thrifty lost and found about it. I could never reach a live person and of course nobody ever responded to the many voicemail messages I left. Between the beat up car and the lack of followup customer service I would never recommend this rental agency to anyone.
