| - I have been working with Sun Country for my HVAC needs for the last 5 years. My first call (like so many here) was when my unit went down in the middle of August, 115-degree heat in Vegas. Sun Country was out within 24 hours and fixed the problem without bending me over for it ($150). Three summers later, my unit (15-year-old builder's special installed when the house was built - real POS) blew two capacitors within a week. Once again, Sun Country was out immediately (the second time, Ray Rayburn, the owner, was out same day at 8:30pm to take care of it himself.) Again, this was a great opportunity for these guys to really stick it to me when I was in a bind - and they didn't. Both times the repair was less than $150, including an overall preventive maintenance. This spring, I decided not to risk another summer with the aging builder's special and got a brand-new, top of the line Trane XR15. I got a decent deal that did NOT include a $689 credit from NVEnergy - Ray didn't tell me I'd be saving almost $700 extra until I handed him the check. I not only enjoy reliable A/C, my overall summer power bills have dropped by 1/3. Sun Country takes good care of its customers. They don't advertise like certain companies that jam your mailbox with cheesy, deceptive "We Overordered, We'll Pay You To Take A New A/C System" fliers - and you're not paying for all that junk mail and billboard advertising either. This is a family owned business that gets repeat business by word of mouth, the old fashioned way.
