I reserved and paid in advance for a king room for 2 nights. I received a confirmation showing that room was exactly what I was supposed to get. I had a late check-in and the hotel was notified of this and told me it would not be an issue. When I checked in, they gave me the room keys and off I went. I was not told at check-in that the room was 2 double beds and not the king I had already paid in advance for! Immediately after getting in the room, I called the front desk and spoke with Cheryl/Cherie (night manager) who informed me there were absolutely no king rooms available and it was not a guaranteed reservation when purchased through a 3rd party (NO INFORMATION I HAD STATED THIS!), but she would give me a $25 good/beverage credit per day for 2 days to make up for the inconvenience. I demanded to speak with her supervisor (Bjorn) and was given a number to call...no answer and no return call from him. I then contacted Priceline customer service and while I was on the phone with them, Cherie/Cheryl called the room and told me they found a king room. I met one of the staff at the new room and he also told me about the food/beverage credit. Long story I know, but they cancelled 1 of the credits. Apparently WHP is more concerned with deceptive practices and lying to their customers than ensuring those customers come back. I WILL NOT SPEND ANY MONEY AT WHP or the other casino/hotels associated with them! (Vee Quiva & Lone Butte)
