  • Flapjacks is a small restaurant in Fountain Hills. Small is really the key term. Our group of 8 waited for nearly 45-minutes for breakfast on a Saturday. Even with attentive/quick service, the restaurant was not large enough to accommodate their demand. Once inside, the decor was very basic. Really a no frills restaurant in the middle of a shopping center. Nearly every member of our group ordered a California omelet. It was good, but not great. I choose to have pancakes on the side which were again good but not great. The pancakes flavor seemed a bit lacking, and the texture was not as tender as others I have had. By no means was the restaurant bad, it just was not great. If in Fountain Hills and not wanting to drive to Scottsdale for breakfast, I would recommend Flapjacks. However, if willing to drive, I would recommend other locations.
