  • The next time I'm craving a burger...give me The Liberty or give me nothing. Well, they do have great burgers. I went here with my daughter and grandson for lunch after hearing great things from friends. We started with the soft pretzels. Let me say right now, I have been eating soft pretzels for a big portion of my life and these salty, soft beauties with cups of sharp cheddar cheese dipping sauce have set a new standard with me. The pretzels alone are probably worth making the trip. My daughter got the "famous" crunch burger and after eating a quarter of it myself, I have to say that it is maybe the best burger in Charlotte. I had the BBQ sandwich which came with a huge mound of sweet smokey pulled pork and cole slaw on a soft brioche bun. French fries were OK but nothing to write home about. My Grandson's french toast was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, sweet syrup over crispy and soft french toast , salty bacon with whipped cream on top. Service was good, parking can be a hassle during busy times, but for a burger this good....I'll wait for a parking place.
