I purchased a groupon for treatment and scheduled a consultation. I am no stranger to laser hair removal treatments, but I'm new to the area and was excited to start treatments locally. I was really impressed with the facilities when I arrived and as I waited in the waiting room.
That being said, the consultation was beyond unprofessional. When I explained to the manager that I had a groupon, he was clearly annoyed and argued about the specific terms. Then he proceeded to pressure me into purchasing more services even after I politely declined. I understand up-selling as a sales strategy, but I was mortified at how aggressive he became with me. At one point an associate knocked on the door and informed us that another appointment was there for him; after closing the door behind her, he turned back to me, standing at the door with his arms crossed, and threatened that if I walk out of the office without purchasing the additional services, the deal would immediately be off the table. I was speechless and felt humiliated. Needless to say, I never returned and found far better service at a different laser spa in the area.
