It's been a while since we'd done this hike.
I didn't remember that it's an incline the whole way to the canyon.
I didn't remember that there are a lot of slot canyons.
I did remember that there is a bit of scrambling at the end, though, if you want to climb up on some of the rocks.
I also remembered that this hike has some awesome tall trees and solitude. We were the only ones on the trail until we turned around and headed back to our car.
I recommend this hike if you want some good cardio and slots-a-fun in the canyons. Just remember to wear hiking shoes or trail shoes with appropriate tread for the rocks on the trail; gloves might be handy, too, if you do scramble.
