  • I'm not sure that I've had Colombian before but that's what is for lunch today. In a large strip plaza, Las Americas is over to the west side and has an easily identifiable store front. Big letters with their name. I was offered a table and a few minutes later, brought a menu. The young lady pointed to the specials and I immediately chose one of those. Not long, a big bowl of black beans followed by a platter of food was placed before me. Interesting combination of spiced ground beef, fried plantains, white rice and a cold side which I enjoyed thoroughly. I quite literally cleared the plate. Absolutely delicious and while not "hot" it was spicy with tasty flavor. Big plate of food, less than $8. Another few bucks for a tip and I was on my way.
