| - It's functional. It's obviously an older building in a not-so-great area of town. It never fails, that everytime I come here I get hit up for some change. Apparantly it's a real 'bad luck' area where people are always 'running out of gas'.
You can tell that the owners do make an effort to keep it pretty clean, so that is a big plus.
Double loads are 2.00 each and the dryers are 0.40 for each 10 minutes, so the prices are fair. However, they do use a system where everything has to be done with a plastic card, which cost 49 cents for the card itself. which means no matter how you figure it, you are stuck leaving extra money on the card. It's not a huge amount, its just a little crappy you dont have the option of paying some in quarters, that way you are just paying for the actual amount it takes to do your laundry. If you lose your card with some credit on it, you are pretty much S.O.L.
There are much nicer laundromats in the city , but on the flip side there are far worse ones as well. It's nothing glamorous, but it will get the job done.
3 stars.
