  • They give you free ice cream or shaved ice on your birthday! Just don't expect anything else, like good customer service or even that half smile/half smirk some "high end" employees reluctantly greet you with. Have you ever had someone approach you, offer you something, and somehow make it seem like you were imposing? I have. It's kinda confusing and irritating, but mostly very revealing as to how arrogant people can be. I didn't want, ask for, or accept dessert, as I don't expect salons to offer any. I do, however expect respect and courtesy when paying for a service. I got a quick gel mani but won't t be back.
