  • Rude. Weird. Save $10 per bottle, awkward encounters, and go to Trader Joe's. These people don't know enough about wine to justify the prices of their wine or their attitude. I've been there about 6 times. Every time I've been there I've never felt comfortable. If you don't want to provide your name, phone number, and email every time you buy a bottle of wine, they get a bit pissed off so that you find yourself explaining why you don't want to put your information out there. It's really none of their business! I also believe they link your information to your credit card purchase. I guess they are just waiting for a database hack. I was there on one occasion and I asked for a particular bottle of wine. The woman at the register snidely and loudly said, "It's right behind you." Like I was stupid. However, there were about 50 different bottles of wine on the shelves "right behind me." I never fully enjoy the wines I've purchased there because of the bad treatment and nasty attitudes I've experienced there while buying the wine. I truly hope their business goes into the ground. They don't deserve success. I've never said that about any other business in all my years.
