I was given a a facial Groupon as a gift for my birthday and I was really excited as it looked like a nice place,
Plus they emailed me right back when I booked my appointment. My appointment was for 12pm I arrived and was taken to the room and told to undress and someone would be in. I waited... it turned into 15 minutes.. I was half undressed so I didn't want to go wandering around in a robe. So I opened the door and saw the receptionist and she said nothing. I totally understand appointments can run over but after I replied to an email still waiting I realized I'd been in there an hour ! So I ran out in the robe and found someone. Who knew nothing about me being in the room waiting. She came in and she did my treatment.. which is the only reason I've given this place 2 stars because I liked the facial, BUT she would not stop trying to up-sell my facial.. she started with ohh your skin is so dehydrated this facial just isn't right for you, you need to upgrade for todays special offer of $50... I said no thank you and she said ok what about $25 I no thank you again and then she wouldn't stop with what a mistake I was making... having to say NO several times was a total buzz kill. The Groupon was for facial and neck and shoulder massage... 2 squeezes on my shoulders does really count as a massage. Then after the facial and 2 squeezes I went out... I was faced with her virtually trying to force me to purchase the over priced products she used.. she wouldn't take no for an answer but I just ignored her. I was then asked to pay for the tax and tip ?? I'm from California and a Groupon is paid in full for the whole treatment.. tax included tips are separate but that was strange, maybe it's the normal thing in Canada.
Anyway the whole pushy sales totally ruined what was already half ruined by being forgotten about for an hour.
I wouldn't go back.
