I called for an appointment today because I had to cancel my appointment with my regular nail technician due to an emergency dental issue.
Tammy answered the phone. I explained that my Groupon for a Gel Overlay and Fill expired today but I'd like to use the value of the service toward a gel fill since I already have gel nails. She had a Saturday opening.
She insisted that she likely would need to give me a new set since she may not have the same product I currently have on my nails. I've gone to other technicians several times when my lady is booked and have never come across this problem.
When I told her I had the classic French manicure (white tips), she said for sure she'd need to give me a new set because she doesn't do the white tips.
I've had a French gel manicure for 20 years and have used several technicians. Never have I met one who d didnt do a French manicure.
To top it off, she was extremely rude. I told her I'm asking Groupon for a refund and she told me to go ahead.
I guess she doesn't need my business and fails to realize the impact that word of mouth and reviews can have.
