| - Jason is Hair Hater!!!
First off, I was super excited to go to this salon!!! I was recommended by a few people and read the reviews so was confident it would be a good day...I was wrong!!!
I originally wanted my hair done by a guy in California, but did not have enough time to get over there so on recommendation I went here... Big mistake!!!
I went for consultation and was recommended to see Jason. I brought him a video with a demonstration of how to cut and balayage ombre exactly what I wanted from the other salon. And he told me it would be no problem and that he works with long hair ALL the time!!! Don't worry, I'm SOOOOOO excited to do your hair!!! So I didn't worry...
I went back in with high hopes the day of my appointment. I sat down and he started brushing my hair...Now my hair is about 3' long and quite thick, this is why I had asked him in the beginning if he could do long hair. He started pulling it and was not so gentle at ALL while brushing it out. When he final finished with that and actually started dying my hair it was obvious he had not watched a second of the video I recommend he watch.
He was suppose to start with a cut and then dying the hair from root down. While he started with dying the root first instead of the cut. Then when it was time for my wash he brought me over to the tub and just started ripping the foil out of my hair. When it was all done he decided to give me the smallest towel available because my hair dripping. We went back over to his chair, where he proceeded to try and brush my hair again, which I had to finish myself for him. Then he started to blow dry my hair with the blower right on my scalp.
I should have walked out right then, but did not want to be rude. He then started dying from tip up, ONE side of my hair rather than layers. Which is how it is suppose to be done with ombre. By the time he was done...One side of my hair was literally platinum blonde while the other side was orange!!! Effin ORANGE!!! My scalp was burning by the time he was done and remained that way for several days afterwards. He also kept insisting this is how I wanted my hair done, when I had clearly told him it was not!!!
It was obviously his first time doing this...Or he's just a liar...Either way, if he had just said in the beginning he was not sure he could do this. I would have said ok and talked to someone else and be thankful for the honesty. But obviously he must not care about his clients enough to be honest with them. Or must need the money...Either way, not a great way to be in business...
