| - My fiancé and I were strolling the strip looking for a bar that we thought would have a good beer selection. We passed this little place purely on a whim and decided to stop in. It's right along the strip, accessible via a front door that leads directly onto the strip. You don't have to enter a hotel, fight through a casino, or twist and turn across carpeted walkways in order to get a drink here. Just pop in, and when you're done- begin your stroll on the sidewalk again.
We stopped in around 8:00 PM on a Thursday. There were only two other patrons in the bar. This doesn't seem to be a place that is ever 'booming'. They were playing Comedy Central (Tosh.0) on their TVs, had very quiet music playing in the background, and only had one bartender tending to visitors. There isn't much sitting (maybe 15 or so high seats total in the entire establishment). This bar is well-maintained though. Very traditionally decorated, yet not too flashy. The main color scheme incorporates bright reds, chrome, and black.
They have a small collection of their own crafted beers on tap. There aren't too many options and I was expecting a bit more (especially in Vegas where alcohol is so prevalent). They do have other options as well including very basic mixed drinks. But, seeing as though it's a brewery, it's the beer you're wondering about- right? As with most things on the strip a glass here is a bit pricey. The beer is served in plastic cups- which I'm assuming is so you can take the cup with you outside of the bar. I don't remember the exact price, but I believe a cup of beer was around $9.00 here.
The beer itself though- was very... meh. It wasn't spectacular. I got a dark stout beer. My fiancé had a pilsner (I think). Both were very mediocre. They weren't any better than any mainstream beers on the market. There was nothing unique enough about them to make them stand out. And although we were in Vegas a couple nights after we stopped in here, we really had no urge to return. The beers didn't draw us in for a second round and although I did enjoy the quiet un-busy-ness of this place, I didn't particularly like the drinks. If you just want to stop in for a quick beer as you're walking around or you want to escape the crowds for a minute, this place will work. But if you're looking for something fun, unique, and worth visiting- look elsewhere.
