  • Capitol Moving and Storage gave us a 4-hour window - which I reconfirmed week of. No one showed up so we called in asking for an update. The lady who answered the phone was not only exceptionally rude, but she claimed we were never on their schedule to begin with - and when we asked to speak to the people at Capitol that we originally scheduled with, she claimed they were unavailable. Worse yet, despite that the situation was entirely their fault, Capitol was completely unwilling to fit us into their schedule - offering us only next-available time windows days later. We had already undertaken significant effort and cost relying on Capitol to have it done that day, not to mention rescheduling other obligations to make their suggested window work. Note that this was for a very small shipment (the whole thing took less than 30 mins), nevertheless they refused to make any accommodations. Service failures happen, but the rudeness and unwillingness to work with us to recover from their service failure shows an extraordinary contempt for the customer - I will certainly not consider any further business with this company.
