  • Infinity Heating & Cooling is a top-class outfit. Our bills to make our pad livable in summer have been relatively high, while our friends and acquaintances mock us with their energy-efficient homes, where allegedly it is possible to live in baronial splendor for a pittance, in spite of the many thousands of square feet they must cool and heat--bastards. And so my husband phoned Alex at Infinity, who in turn sent over Justin to take a hard look at our plant. Turns out our units, two of them, are running at maximum output, the limits of their amperage, and so are tired, outdated, grossly inefficient, and near death. The solution is to replace the first of these two units that actually dies, but hopefully not too soon, as winter installation is meaningfully less expensive than high season work. In a phrase, we are loudly praying that our ancient system will make it through at least one more hot summer, before at least part of it needs to be replaced. (Our boastful friends benefit from much fancier, modern air-conditioning units, resulting in comparatively low bills....) Alex manages the office at Infinity. She is helpful, pleasant, and above all, patient. The young man who handled our service call, Justin, was most professional; he explained our options intelligently. My husband's lack of knowledge about heating and cooling is--by his own admission--encyclopedic. But the old boy was able to bring me up to speed without drama, thanks to Justin's straightforward approach to this complex situation. The service call was $49.00, well worth the cost, since we now understand what must eventually be done to ensure good performance in future (Justin also cleaned out the existing units after inspection). Finally, important to note that Infinity does not push expensive solutions on its clients; instead, this honest firm suggests the best repair and upgrade options available for any budget. I highly recommended Infinity Heating & Cooling.
