  • About a year ago I went to Sonoran Desert Dentistry when it was under Dr. Parsanko. It was initially simply for a cleaning and it was fine. Staff was friendly and service was quick and the cleaning was done thoroughly and efficiently. Most recently though it's lacking in several areas. I was in a lot of pain but no real diagnosis, I asked for a referral to a specialist. The specialist found the problem and fixed it. Later I returned to Sonoran Desert Dentistry for a follow up appointment, a cavity was noted however, upon further evaluation there was no cavity. It's difficulty to understand how a cavity was charted in fact without a cavity in sight! When I left my appointment I was being charged three times as much as what I was originally estimated. When I asked the receptionist she simply said, "OK I'll charge you what you were quoted". Another red flag for me. How can you not know what your office quotes? Documentation must not be the norm. That's too bad because the people seem nice but as for me I'll have to keep looking for a different provider.
