We were traveling this summer near Cleveland and in the mood for German food...
So we stopped at Das Schnitzel Haus. Not only did we find tasty German food, but we were THRILLED to find Serbian/Hungarian on the menu. After a super fresh shopska salata and cevapcici, I didn't have much room left for German food, but sampled everything on the Deutche Platte and took A LOT of leftovers with me. The ayvar (served with cevapi) is delicious. The goulash tasted more like saurbraten, but either way, was excellent!! I didn't order the sarma (stuffed cabbage) because I was afraid I'd be disappointed, but judging from the quality, not to mention enormous quantity, of the other dishes, I'll give it a try.
Next time we're in Cleveland Das Schnitzel Haus is on the list!
