| - Love this community studio - it's small and intimate and a great place to start if you are new to yoga. What keeps me coming back to this studio, when I also go to Yoga Sanctuary, are Michelle's Vinyasa and Yin Yoga classes. Although Michelle's Vinyasa class on Saturday mornings is a Level 1/2, I never feel forced or rushed. As a newbie, I appreciate the pace of the class but also feel both encouraged and challenged to do a little more each time, so it's a great learning curve for me. Michelle is fantastic, and I feel challenged to continue my practice and learning with her. I really trust her and feel that I'm in good hands, and I think that's important.
I love her energy and positive outlook and you can really tell she loves what she does.
My very first class ever was a a Yin Yoga class with Katie. I love the music she plays in class. I feel really chilled-out in her yin classes and look forward each week to aromatherapy. It makes me want to take more candlelight, aromatherapy, yin classes. I like the intensity of the postures and have found that they really clear my mind and help me to focus and learn patience. Also, the front-office staff are welcoming, very friendly and especially helpful. I only wish that they offered at least one beginner's yoga class (and not just Vinyasa) in the evening.
