  • SO COOL!! This was one of the most fun experiences I've had in Las Vegas. And luckily, it is only about 15 minutes south of my house in Henderson. I can't wait to go back! VORE has their own drivers. I decided after my ride with a professional that I think I would prefer to have someone else drive. I drove a Lambo out at Exotics Racing at the Speedway, and I felt like a Granny! It's just not in my blood to try and go that fast. So, having the professional driver was a big plus. He didn't hold back and really put the pedal to the metal on the track. The trucks are $160,000 each and the dirt course is in great condition. The track is sponsored by Ford Racing. I will admit, it was tough to get in and out of the truck - you have to go Dukes of Hazard style! Then they help strap you in and get your helmet on. The helmet gets attached to oxygen, which I was told is supposed to enlighten your experience (?). I can not explain what a blast this was! We raced around the track at full speed, fish tailing and hitting the hills running - flying about 40 feet into the air. It was so exhilirating, but at no time scary. The adrenaline was really pumping by the end of my 5 laps. The guys who run VORE are also super friendly and professional and you can tell that they are very passionate about the company. The course is located on the property with the Pro Gun Club in Boulder City (on the mountain). If you follow the directions on their website, it is super easy to find. Apparently a lot of people get lost when following GPS and end up near the Lake. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because of the general cost of the experiences. They have packages ranging from $795-$1495 per person. And you have to pay $50 extra if you want a driver (normally the guest drives themselves). This is pretty pricey, IMO.
