  • We went to House 2 Home on Stephanie to look at backsplash and tile for our entire house. We picked a tile we liked and asked for a sample to take home, we were told it would be a $20 deposit, which we agreed on. We gave the employee the name of the tile while we looked around a bit more. After awhile we went looking for the employee since he still hadn't grabbed our sample. He was helping other customers and said he told us the name we told him is wrong. We showed him the tile which was on display on the wall. He told us that when they build those displays the throw out the extra tile so he did not have a sample for us to take. We asked if we would be able to buy a box and return if they did not work and the employee said our only options were to either bring a cabinet in to hold next to it or just place the entire order which is not refundable. I tried to explain to him that I need to compare the flooring to more then just cabinets and he did not care and basically said oh well. I will never go back to this store. I would rather spend and extra $.50 a sq ft to not deal with them again. We went to Floor and Decor and apparently House 2 Home has quite a bad reputation in town.
