| - Chateau delivered a birthday celebration for the books! I couldn't have been happier with the ambiance, music, and above all else, the service from the team helping us!
Finding the VIP/table line wasn't very easy as there isn't clear signage, but once we were where we needed to be, our entry was super fast and smooth. Avoiding the guest line has to be one of the best perks of bottle service, but it wasn't until I was in the club that I found out the VIP line treatment lasts all the way through the night! Our table security, Ryan Landry, is a superstar! He was so helpful and personable the whole night.. literally shutting down the club with a warm sendoff and smile on his face. To start the night, he informed us if there was a line at the bar or for the restroom to let him know and he would escort us accordingly. He was so active and engaged with our table, as well as others and it never feels like he's just there to be the stoic, detached "muscle" like so many security personnel can sometimes come off. When people were in our booth (without permission) smoking and/or overstaying their welcome, he handled every instance promptly and tactfully.
Our table server, Kortney, and her service assistant, Prince, were also fantastic! The bottle service was nearly flawless (small miscommunication with the bubbles-NBD). Both service attendants would check on us appropriately without being overbearing, pouring perfect drinks and shots, and meticulously maintaining the table supplies appearance. Whenever we made a mess (there were a few), they were right on top of it and ensured it was completely dried every time- safety first!!
So now let's talk about the club itself. I chose Chateau for the outdoor experience, the views of the fountains, and to enjoy a smaller/more intimate club vibe than say Omnia or Hakkasann. I'd share my birthday plans with people and be warned "Chateau is "ghetto"".. well let's clear that up right quick- CHATEAU IS NOT GHETTO!! It is a well maintained, super clean, super safe, super professional, well designed club. Absolutely nothing about the facilities or accommodations is ghetto; let me explain what those people are judging the club on..
Nightclubs are loosely one of two varieties- hip hop/R&B or EDM; clubs can't be everything to everyone, they have to make choices. Chateau is a hip hop club playing primarily hip hip/R&B/Top 40 and I felt their music was much more varied than say Drai's with almost exclusive hip hip/rap. Granted those small nuances can vary with DJ/performer, but I would say that's a fair comparison.
The outdoor club environment/ambiance was maybe my favorite part of the evening. The space feels open and airy even though you're right under the Eiffel Tower. The large glass walls shield the club from the winds and the space is warmed comfortably with space heaters throughout. It was never stuffy or claustrophobic, and with the gleaming lights of the strip contributing to the rooftop, it is slightly better lit than most nightclubs so you don't feel like a blind dog bumping into crowds.
Thank you Ryan, Kortney, Prince and the rest of the Chateau team for making it such a special and memorable birthday celebration! I can't wait to join you again for my next big event and recommend your first class service to others!
