9 years ago I had the joy of bringing my puppy home. For the first 16 months we brought her to caring hearts and were very pleased. As a physician myself, I did my research before bringing her just anywhere. She got enteritis and as a result the "substitute dr" gave her a medication for it, unfortunately he gave her toxic levels. Within 2 days our vibrant 18 month old cried if we touched her then could not stand...We rushed her to the ER for animals in Gilbert at 1 am Sunday and they said we needed to cease the meds immediately as she would die within 36 hours b'c of the toxic dose administered. I followed up 4 times in 5 weeks with caring hearts, and thought THEY caused the problem, they had no problem charging me for every subsequent visit. I would NEVER think of charging a patient I nearly killed if they came back. It had nothing to do with money, but accountability. I have since had her at University Animal hospital. A far larger group of doctors who take the time to pick up their phones when you have concerns. Sorry caring hearts.....though it has been 7 years, your advertisement prompted me to write how I feel.
