  • I have been to Holley's Cuppa several times since it is my hood. Last week was the first time I made it inside instead of doing drive-thru because in the mornings when there is nothing in my fridge I drive to Holley's in my pajamas. I am sure we have all done it- don't judge me! Another Yelp Elite friend who loves this place invited me for coffee to catch up from my month long trip abroad. Ok so my friend wanted me to do something different from my regular pajama-drive to Holley's? Alright, I'm game! We met passed lunch time and I even broke out my new shoes, just because. I ordered the chicken salad croissant and the Mexican Spice Latte. My food came out on a timely manner and like any good foodie we took photos of our food and coffee. After 'the Camera eats first' session I took a sip of my Mexican Spice Latte and was impressed. I was so impressed that this will be my Go To instead of ordering my regular Chai Latte. I wanted something other than Black 'like my soul' coffee and was not in the mood for anything too sweet, I also wanted something different. I'm a handful, I know it! So the Mexican Spice Latte was suggested and it was exactly what I wanted... needed... wanted. The Chicken Salad Croissant was just that really- normal chicken salad on a croissant topped with baby spinach leaves. Now what I do order over and over while wearing my pajamas is the Jalapeño Bagel with cream cheese and bacon. I do love me a breakfast sandwich and this one is different than your typical egg, cheese and topped with a pick your style breakfast meat. I do love those if they are done right but sometimes I want something different. So put together a Jalapeno bagel, which I love and bacon, which I LOVE and then cream cheese, WHICH I LOVE then that becomes the perfect breakfast sandwich for me. I think when I come by Holley's next time I will have my Jalapeno Bagel with cream cheese and bacon accompanied with that yummy Mexican Spice Latte. I may even get dressed and go inside, we'll see.
