| - The good: Their internet is fast, reasonably priced (as a residential customer), and stable.
The bad: The rest.... Appalling customer service, grossly over-inflated pricing for business customers (was paying $75/month for 50Mbs with a dynamic IP - barf - and they wanted $249/month for a "business" connection, the only difference being a static IP).
TV is a joke - flaky equipment, numerous "technical difficulties" when viewing non-recorded or recorded programs, program recording starting late or finishing early (or both) more often than not. Misleading advertising - sir, you get over 350 channels. BS! I get about 170, but they come in regular and HD - what a crock and a lie!
Phone service (ooops, I said service sorry!). Overpriced.
They love to bundle, but when you find you're being ripped off by them, you pay through the nose to get out and, if you keep any of the services, the price skyrockets.
They are pretty much the only provider here in Phoenix and they should be investigated by the Fed Trade Commission for unscrupulous business practices.
Unless you're unbelievably desperate go without or go to someone else. Cox sucks!
