  • I did my eye surgery here about 2 years ago. I remember I had my appointment the beginning of the year. The offices were obviously on holiday hours. I remember I asked the receptionist if they gave a call for appointment remember. She said no. I said how am I supposed to recall my appointment? (I of course could use my calendar. But EVERY SINGLE doctors appointment or dental I have gotten a call. Even if it's automated or texted.) she said: i dont know, write it down and remember it. But we won't call you. Of course now 2 years later they have a text message system. But the older lady that works there is sooooooooo rude. She's rude then she tries to mellow you down by insulting me. She said its $50 for your consultation. I explained to her my insurance company is the same, but I'm not sure if my group number is the same, I am paying more on my insurance so my deductible could be less. She said well I won't know. I'm thinking to myself... Well I didn't ask you if you did, but ok. Let's go with the flow. She then begins to tell me the other girl that does the insurance stuff is gone somewhere. She doesn't know when she'll be back but she might know. She said why don't you call and figure it out? I said because you have my insurance card in your hand. I eventually told her you know what forget it, just charge me the deductible of $50, this hassle is NOT worth my time. So she's like no, just call. Why do I have to call? Aren't receptionist supposed to verify your insurance ?? Eventually she said ok well just bill you because she didn't let me pay the $50 bucks. I better not get something stupid in the mail of like $400 dollars. I know the lady that did my consultation was next level nice. Super sweet with beautiful colored eyes. I didn't get her name. I do remember she asked her something (the rude older lady up front) and she too gave her a smart a-- attitude The doctor did a phenomenal job. I've heard horrific stories on Lasik eye surgery but I read a lot of reviews on doctors and was recommended more than twice to this office. I am VERY thankful I don't need glasses or contacts for a VERY LONG LONG TIME!!!! For someone that spent $3,000+ SHOULD go to a beautiful office like this and EXPECT high quality customer service. I shouldn't have to do squat to verify my insurances I'm already paying for a 20/20 vision. GET IT TOGETHER FRONT OFFICE.
