First- I will give them props for having all kind of items to choose from (especially during holiday season) and pretty reasonable at that, but the negative review comes from being at the store around Christmas time. They would announce very loudly and excitedly ( had a headache by the end of my store visit but not a big deal) who donated $1 Dollar towards the Toy drive for kids in Military.
So every time you go up to the cashier, she/he will ask you if you would like to donate to the toy drive. I politely declined stating I could not afford to at this time but wished them well. The cashier than did a 180 and became very rude, offensive and judgmental towards me " What, you don't want to Donate a Dollar to the Kids toy Drive?" I replied " No, as I said, i'm sorry I cannot afford it right now." She replied " So, you don't want to donate a dollar towards the kid toy drive?" In the same, rude, judgmental and offensive attitude.
Needless to say this left a very sour taste in my mouth. Employees are judging people who cannot afford to donate or spend extra money other then what they need to survive.
It's completely disgusting that they are using this tactic to guilt people into donating for whatever cause they have for the month/week. Shame.
