  • Kanga-what? Kangamoo! Went on Saturday 2-20-16 at 9:30 AM. This indoor playground is located on Sunset between Eastern and Paradise. I was expecting a bit more fanfare on their opening day but there were quite a few people there and they had free donuts. This is a brand-spankin-new 9,500 square-foot facility. Most of the place is like a McDonalds playplace on steroids filled with delightful surprises around every colorful corner. The maze is tall enough that adults can follow their littles if they want. There are multiple slides, trampolines, a zipline, and tiny little swings. There is an impressive toddler area with padded slides, rocking toys, a bunch of Rody's, foam blocks, a little play kitchen, a fully-stocked crafting area, lego table, and lots of books. On their website they have a picture of a ball pit but I wasn't able to find it. This place is socks only! But if you forget don't worry cuz' they have them for sale here for $2. They have cubby holes to put your shoes in by the front door. For the grown ups there is a walking track, massage chairs, free water/coffee/tea, a random eliptical, and two vanities with nail polish for DIY manicures. They have a small retail area with snacks, drinks, and merchandise for sale. There are charging stations and free wi-fi. The play areas are supervised by Kangamoo staff so I guess if you had older children you could enjoy some of these things but my boy is 20 months so I pretty much just followed him around. Admission is $10 per child aged 1-10, under 1 is free, and 11+ are free if they are accompanying a child. You can buy a punchcard for 10 visits for $65 which is a pretty good bit of savings. They also have an unlimited yearly pass for $225 if you're really bat-shit crazy about this place. Open play is Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday - Sunday 9am - 11am. Saturday & Sunday check facebook!!. My kid freakin' loved this place! It's going to be great in the summertime when it's a bagillion degrees outside! ******************************************UPDATE 7-19-16****************************************************** So imma have to bump this place down a bit. The quality of this place was very high when they first opened but their flaws are starting to show the more I go. I see a lot of wear and tear and it seems like the owners are not keeping up with it and making repairs. Here's some things I noticed that I don't like: 1) The floor is beginning to bubble up in lots of places. The floor is made from foam puzzle blocks that are coming up and bubbling. Be careful where you step. 2) Asshole people leave all their belongings on the couches and chairs instead of in the cubby holes which means there is nowhere to sit. Nobody is gonna steal your stinkin' diaper bag!!! Just put it over in the cubby holes!! 3) The play equipment is covered in a vinyl fabric that is stapled to the inside structure. I saw a few of these staples wiggled loose in a few places and a kid could step on them and it would go right through their hand/foot. Pretty dangerous. 4) The crafting area is a fiasco now. It looks like they are no longer re-filling the supplies. Last time I went they only had construction paper and like 4 markers. When I first came they had glue, pom poms, scissors, colored pencils....all kinds of stuff. Now it just looks sad. 5) The toddler area used to be full of plush toys, blocks, a cool tunnel, climbing equipment, play kitchens, etc. and now all of that is either gone, dirty, or very damaged. 6) The zipline has been "broken" for months.
