| - Just came back from this event. This was my first Mac and Cheese Festival and sadly this will be my last.
The ticket/token paying system was extremely confusing and honestly and I don't even know the guy selling them even knew what he was talking about. All he said was, the vendors don't accept cash they accept tokens. So you need to buy a stamp to buy tokens and the tokens is what you need to pay with. They were 10 for $15 and if you wanted to come back and get more they were $10 for 10 and the stamp was $5. (Huh? Someone do the math and get back to me because I'm so confused...)
As expected the place was jammed packed.
The line ups for each vendor were massive! We waited a good 2.5 hours just to get 3 small servings of different flavoured mac and cheese.
My favourite was the Doritos Mac and Cheese, my second favourite was the Butter Chicken Mac and Cheese and my least favourite was the Truffle Oil Mac and Cheese.
All in all, I won't be returning. It was super expensive, cold, confusing, busy and absolutely not worth it. Oh, and did I mention there was ZERO parking. My friend and I, parked downtown and had to uber it down back to Ontario Place.
TIP: if anyone is planning to attend the event please eat wayyyyyy in advance. There is a long wait and the portions are super tiny. Don't drive - uber, taxi, horse and buggy it, I don't know just don't drive.
