  • So, after being a loyal customer of ABC Hyundai's for the last year and a half, I have to update my experience. In March of this year, a year into my terms of finance for my Accent, I got told to come trade it in. They told me they desperately needed low mileage inventory like my Accent. Lies, bait and switch, the whole nine yards....I already reviewed that, so I'll move on. I got a call from a salesman 2 days ago. He said they were offering a $4,000 rebate on new Elantras and Sonatas, and that this would allow me to roll over the majority of my negative equity. I did the credit form, spoke to this salesman and his manager multiple times, ensuring this deal was legit. They promised it was legit, saying that I could drive 1 away with just $500 down, have my 23% interest lowered, and keep my payments similar to current. I emphasized that I had been to other dealerships, been told things that, upon arrival, exposed as lies. They ensured me this wouldn't happen here. It was worse. Not only do I make twice as much as I made when I financed my Accent, but my credit score has raised, and I've made all 17 payments on time. They ran my inquiry through their lenders, then came back saying I needed twice the down payment. I hesitantly agreed. They then came back and said the car we spoke of was not available, and hadn't been available for months. Coming back a third time, they said I needed a cosigner. A COSIGNER??? 17 on time payments, and I need a cosigner??? That was when I told them to have a nice day and walked out. If any management reads this, and the hundred other 1 star reviews, what are you thinking? I was ready to sign on for another 5 years with you guys....
