  • We booked our stay at the Palazzo through American Express travel, and as part of the deal we get $60 per day dining credit for breakfast at the Grand Lux. We went this morning and were very impressed not just by the food, but by the service as well. We had the breakfast buffet. All of the items seemed so fresh. The omelet bar was great, with plentiful ingredients and customization using oil or cooking spray, eggs, eggs pre-scrambled or egg whites, even eggs cooked to order. The hash browns appeared to be freshly shredded. The oatmeal looked like steel cut. The fruit was great quality too. Our server was great. Even though we had the buffet, he went out of his way to make sure we had anything we needed. When I was looking for oatmeal in the buffet area, it was out. Our server brought me a bowl when it was ready. He went above and beyond! We get to return the next two mornings, and I hope the experience will be just as great!
