  • New Palms (Station casino) player rewards program is terrible. No longer a weekly food credit/free slot play program. We used to get $400/month in feee slot play & $120/month in food credit. The "new" Station casino gave us $40 slot play, $40 food credit and $160 free cash (if we go to claim $30 every 3 days during the month...what a waste of time!). It's no wonder the casino floor was like a ghost town last night...there's no more 10x points on Wednesday. Check out the Buffalo machines by McDonalds...it used to be hard to get a seat. Last night there was not a single soul playing on any of the 8 machines. So sad... 11/30/2016 The word's out...these machines have been tightened! Average bonus spin on Buffalo machine includes 1 retrigger...2 retriggers if you're lucky! They offered 15x points tonight. Not worth the time for bonuses with meager payouts. Average bonus payout tonight $1.30 to $12. Gold Coast Casino, here we come! 3/11/2018 What is happening at Palms? We stopped to play here and this is what was happening tonight: 1)the VIP parking was not available because the lift arm was broken. A guy was trying to fix it and yelled at us to "go find parking someplace else" 2) the slot machine I wanted to play was broken and I was told there was no technician available so I couldn't play it. I find it hard to believe there are no slot techs working at any given time 3) The system link was down so no one could play for points and the machines would only accept cash 4) The machines would print vouchers but we had to stand in line at the cashier to get it cashed. 5)The redemption machines were rejecting the vouchers. Everybody was confused...the slot attendants were no help. They rudely told customers to "go stand in line at the cashier". 6) the restrooms were a hot mess...no hand towels available 6) the air conditioning was POOR! It feels stuffy like there is no air circulation. Felt like it was 80 degrees!! We left the casino along with a lot of other frustrated players.
