  • So I've only written one other non-restaurant review so far. But I just got my wisdom teeth pulled today, and these people did such an amazing job. You always hear these horror stories about people getting their wisdom teeth pulled and what happens during the recovery period. Not being able to eat or talk, excessive bleeding, vomiting, pain... My brother got his pulled here not too long ago, and this morning I could only hope my procedure would go as well as his cos he had the least painful experience I had ever heard of. But you know what?? I think mine even turned out better than his! I had no idea that was even possible, but I'm so incredibly relieved. It probably depends on the person..how well they take the surgery. But I've been thinking...what if it's the surgeon's doing that we turned out so well? It's a very nice office and a pretty comfortable place to do something people dread so much. Even the waiting room for whoever goes with you to drive has these big couches comfy enough to fall asleep in, which I totally did when I went with Brother, hah. It was freezing cold the last time we went, but the people are extremely nice, so just ask for their soft blankets if it gets cold. So I was sitting in the operating room today, and I was completely out soon after they inserted the IV. I don't even remember falling asleep! The next thing I knew..I was awake, and we were done. I went in to the office at 1:30 and was out by 3:30. I was able to have miso soup with tofu an hour after. There was a bit of blood at first of course, but it stopped by 7:00 when I had five bowls of congee for dinner, 3 with fish and 2 with that dried pork stuff, haha. I started feeling a little pain as the anesthesia wore off, but the medication took care of that quickly. I haven't even needed to take any recently because it's really not that bad. I did feel a little drowsy at times (probably more from the medication than the anesthesia), but not even enough to need a nap. If you're looking to get your wisdom teeth pulled, I would definitely recommend this place! FYI: They also have a location in Henderson at 1525 Warm Springs Road, Suite #125.
