| - It's okay but nothing special - if other choices, I'd go elsewhere. I got the pho, and maybe that's not their specialty but I would think pho is basic enough to make well at a Vietnamese restaurant... The beef was kind of strange, and I would say the whole dish just wasn't very enticing. Also it was pricey for what we ordered. No appetizers, no desserts, water, a pho, and a pork chop dish - all well over $30. They also seated us right by the kitchen door, so it was an odd place to have a table. People were walking by all the time, but the worst part was the strange smell coming out of the kitchen. It was not appetizing and was a strange off-putting smell. It seemed to me a lot of people were there to sit at the bar. Yes, they had some customers at tables, but there were a lot of loud people at the bar and I felt maybe that is the allure of the place. I would only come back if I was having a bad craving for Vietnamese food, but there are other places around that have recently opened that may be better. Disclaimer: I am not a Vietnamese food guru or anything, and maybe we just didn't order the right dishes. I've had these same dishes elsewhere though, that tasted better.
