  • The Sephora at The Forum inside Caesar Palace have the least professional staffs I've probably ever encounter at any Sephora. I asked one staff for help because she was free but she ended up pushing me to another staff, while she goes back to her standing there and doing nothing position.... The guy staff, I didn't catch his name, I asked him to help me match my tone for Burberry foundation. After I insisted that I don't trust Color IQ, he finally gave up and attempted to match me manually, and this is when I knew it was a huge mistake having him to help me. The moment he took out his foundation brush, I already knew that brush was unclean. I mean, that flat brush was packed with liquid residue that I cannot visually tell what color was the original bristles anymore. I also had to tell him that I was wearing a lot of makeup right before he plans to slap foundation on my face (he didn't ask like other's do, so I had to stop him). He then attempted to wipe my makeup off but did a terrible job..... Anyway, he pick out my shade and I looked like a ghost. Then he picked out another shade which I look pink in. Finally after some struggle, I decided on #26. Now the highlight, he did NOT clean his brush throughout the different foundations, and yes he was using the same brush. Also, he tested one shade in left side of my cheek and the other shade on the right, when he was about to test the third shade, he tested on my hand....(um... wtf?). So I questioned him, which then he goes back to my face and layered different shades of foundation in the same area during color testing. Anyway, finally got my shade but I wanted to test it out before buying so I asked him to put it on my entire face. He did and surely he wasn't joking as put about 4 pumps worth on my face.....Um... ... ... ... Anyway, that was that. So after that very not-trustworthy/impressed experience, I walked around the mall and came back to Sephora to buy my foundation but I forgot the number. So I asked another male staff (I think the 1st guy went home) for help. He had an "what the X do you want" attitude..... -_- You know, you are so lucky that I am considered as a tourist, but even then you shouldn't treat people that way, we are customers, tourist or not. Anyway, he ended up giving me the wrong shade, so I had to drive 40mins to a nearby sephora that actually carries Burberry in LA, because online is always out of stock. Such a hassle for me. Another lady staff had a better attitude but not very informative with their products. Now, purchasing, that lady with very few words had an " I don't give a X, I don't want to be here, I don't care about you" attitude. Also the Burberry stick I bought was actually used and the packaging sucked, so I had to exchange it too. My last time coming to this Sephora. The staff here needs to be trained. One star for location. One star for the products they carry. 0 stars for the 5 staff I met.
