Once known for its broken furniture, sticky floor, and pool tables, 268 Augusta is now home to one of the best bar relocations in recent history. Supermarket came to this address when the owners of the much-loved Lava lost that location. With the new location comes a lot of brand new things. Like three different areas, a glassed in seating area at the front, an eating area (slightly raised) and a patio that spills out onto the sidewalk.
The walls are usually covered with the art work of some local artist or another, making this more than just a club come night fall. The food is also quite good, and there's a lot of it. The music is eclectic, quite enjoyable even for people who usually don't like the club scene. And because of the seating areas those who prefer to sit and mingle and chat can do so without feeling strange.
