I have been a patient at G&P for 2 years now and I don't know how much longer I can tolerate being treated like cattle. They offer same day appointments, they just don't tell you it might be a 40 minute drive. They have a lot of PA and NPR. It's hard to get a MD unless you book a week in advance. I was experiencing a lot of pain while urinating. Called for an appointment on a Saturday, they were completely booked except for in Maricopa. So I waited in out, trembling in fear each time I had to use the bathroom. I went into the Chandler office at 7 am when they open. I asked if they had any appointments. There was no one in the office! The soonest appointment was 11 am with a PA. I asked for a MD. I ended up driving to the Mesa location for a 3:20 appointment. Urine test revealed I had a UTI. Big surprise, I could have diagnosed that myself. So the doctored sent a script into my pharmacy....or I thought she did. I went to the pharmacy 10 minutes before closing and nothing was send to my pharmacy or the chain in the entire state. My pharmacist checked. I called the dr. office to follow up. I looped on the recording for 5 minutes and then at 5 pm the office was closed and all I could do was leave a message. Bought an over the counter to help with symptoms and then called the next morning at 7 am. I was asked to call back at 8 when the triage could help me. I called back at 8 and was told that the doctor did not specify the strength of the antibiotic. The nurse sent the doctor an email and said she would call me when they sent it to the pharmacy. So now it's 11 am and I still have not heard anything. I call back and they were still waiting for the dr to respond to email. I asked if someone else could sign off as I am still in horrific plan and should have been taking my antibiotics for a few days now. I was told they would send another email and it should be soon as she checks emails before lunch. Maybe 20 minutes later, I got the call saying my script was sent. Thank goodness.
