| - Adair came to our home to speak to my husband and I about "going green", or so we were told. The sales rep talked to us for 3 hours telling us the evils of the power company and how a solar water heater, Aero seal, and a radiant barrier will save us thousands of dollars in heating in cooling costs. The catch? $10,000. It costs $10,000 to stick it to the power company, if you will. After 3 hours of listening to this fast talking sales rep talk AT us, who used all kinds of smoke and mirrors to make us think we were getting an amazing deal "in the long run" if we took out a $10,000 loan to pay for all this "stuff", we agreed. Once the Adair representative left, my husband and I critically looked at the products we were actually getting, read reviews online, and realized we had made a huge mistake. Everything was WAY overpriced and there was no proof that the Aero seal and radiant barrier actually worked. And all that promised savings or "money in your pocket" that would totally reimburse those loan payments and then some? Yeah, those numbers were an exaggeration.
The next morning we called Adair and backed out of the deal. Thankfully there was not an issue and we canceled everything. The sales rep, however, did call my husband in a last ditch effort to guilt us into spending the $10K after all. Saying things like "I wouldn't have spent 3 hours with you if I thought you would back out the next day." I would feel bad, except for the fact that this person was clearly relying on bully tactics to make a sale. I cannot and will not respect that.
I have no experience with Adair in the plumbing department, so I cannot attest to that service.
I will say that if you are offered the chance to "Go Green" with Adair Solar and Plumbing just say no.
