On average I am a true Walmart hater. I still shop there and thus a part of me hates myself for doing so. Sure...Walmart as cheap prices, but I often think of all those little "Mom & Pop" shops that were slaughtered as this monster headed out of Bentonville.
We rolled into town for Spring Training. No Spring Training on the day of our visit, just hiking. Needed some snacks and other accoutrements to get us by for the rest of our stay. Seeing is how this was the closest Wally World to our location, its the one we chose to visit.
We did not have any issues at all. This location is huge but easy to navigate. We were able to get what we needed with little fuss. It was clear many other shoppers were not happy to be there. That being said there was not a lot of aisle blockage and everyone tried to stay out of the way of one another.
Check out was slow. We expected it to be and that made it easier. I reflected on how blessed we are during this time. The reason for the slow down in our area was due to the clerk (who was a happy little saint) price checking items for folks who were strategizing their purchases.
I can pretty much attest to the fact that I will never visit this location ever again, but all in all, it was an A-OK experience.
