  • My friend Andrew N. heard I was going to Vegas and asked if I've been to Bachi Burger. What burger, I asked? Bachi burger! Never heard of it, I said. Well, it's a fusion burger place off the Strip, and it's supposed to be pretty good. Maybe I'll try it, I said, but thinking I probably won't because we might be too lazy to leave the Strip. But right after we checked in, my addicted-to-burgers bestie readily agreed to go even though she was sick and didn't have an appetite. Excited that she showed some interest in food, we passed on eating Earl's with our other friends and went to Bachi instead. When we got there, we didn't have much of a wait since it was kind of late. The interior was pretty open-spaced, simple and clean. We were seated quickly, and my friend wasted no time in ordering her burger AND fries despite having the flu! We ended up with the miyagi-san's grass fed wagyu burger, black and green burger, and truffle parmesan fries. Behold the burgers: miyagi sans (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7sPNbCx7vGAaH7SbNPZ6oA?select=8YjaanPy1nCGW0crojJDkw#8YjaanPy1nCGW0crojJDkw) and black and green (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7sPNbCx7vGAaH7SbNPZ6oA?select=8YjaanPy1nCGW0crojJDkw#FKU28v4IVPeZhS-fTYmpnw). Wasn't sure how I was supposed to eat the miyagi-sans burger because it was stacked pretty high, but it sure was tasty. Grass-fed wagyu with fried egg, chili mayo, carmelized bacon, and onion crisps. The flavors were prominent, and the oozing egg yolk on top of a juicy patty was delicious. The black and green burger was pretty good, but not as good in my opinion. It was slightly more bland with an earthly, sweet taste. The fries were drizzled with black truffle porcini cream that was pretty good. Not amazing though. It also came with a sun-dried tomato aoili, which was unnecessary because it didn't pair well with the fries. It was a good meal overall though. If you're looking to get off the Strip for a while, I would say give Bachi Burger a try if you like fusion burgers!
