  • It is with deep regret that I now 1-star Stax having now had a few BAD experiences. Last night was the WORST. We (my friend, our 2 daughters, me) get there a bit after 5, and they have a great Happy Hour mind you, and the place is EMPTY. The lone bartender/server recognized my friend and came to chat, took our drink order and came back and messed up who ordered what. (There were only 2 adults.) We ordered tots, salad, queso dip, wings, fish tacos and some sliders. The starter, queso, didn't come out, the tots did, then the sliders. Ok, no problem. Then the salad came, wrong salad (1 not on the happy hour menu), no tacos, no queso, remind server. We have the salad fixed, new 1 comes out, (she ordered it no onions, dressing on the side.) It comes out with both. Still no queso, no tacos... remind server again... Now, we just take the 3rd attempt at the salad, the tacos and queso to go. , The bill comes, billed for 3 salads!!!!??? Wrong items on my bill, that should have been on hers, vice versa. Oh, we check the salad to go. Wrong dressing!! Mistakes happen, but this is ridiculous, he should have offered to comp the tacos, queso snd/or salad, didn't. Oh, now there is still only 1 other person in the place... love the food, but as not the first time this happened, NEVER GOING BACK!!!
