  • I've been here a handful of times and each time we've had bottle service. I wouldn't recommend going out to a club in Vegas without a table reservation. Otherwise you can expect to wait in line, pay at the door, stand all night, and have less than desired real estate for the evening. Anyhow, I've always come with a group of friends and we have never had a bad time. Then again, my friends and I are liable to have a great time at a McDonald's playground... so I may not be a good measure stick. I'll review the club on what I think is probably most important to club-goers. Music: I love the music here. In the smaller room in the back, it is exclusively hip-hop. In the main room, it's open-format (mixed with EDM, top 40, and hip-hop. I can only first pump to EDM for so long, so I prefer the open format. Crowd: The crowd can be hit or miss. On some nights, it's great. On others, not so much. The best places with the best talent are Hyde (open format), Tryst (open format), Surrender (EDM), and XS (EDM) in my opinion. Those happen to be my favorites as well. Atmosphere 1OAK has a lively energtic atmosphere. I love it. Especially when the snow falls (soap) and the LED batons come out. Decor: From what I can tell, the space looks real nice. It's really dark inside though so it's tough to judge. Space: It's a good sized club; however, the dance floor and bars can tend to get crowded. Another reason I recommend bottle service. So why didn't I give it 5 stars? In comparison to some of my favorite clubs (mentioned above), 1OAK just doesn't measure up in comparison. The crowd and the service at the other Tier 1 clubs are just flat out better. Nonetheless, I enjoy it here... primarily because of the music. Shout out to Joey Orr and Bryan Means from the Light Group for always making our experience comfortable and memorable.
