  • I noticed that my steering wheel was not centered while driving and figured it needed an alignment as its a 93 Toyota that I purchased the day before Christmas eve. I called all the big chains like Pep Boys, Big O Tires, Firestone and Discount Tires. FYI: Discount Tires does not do alignments. Anyway, the chains all quoted me 85 to 90 dollars. I was referred to this shop by the guys in the strip mall at the NE corner of Lamb and LV Blvd. Although, they didn't actually say Godis. They just said I could get the alignment done at a shop that's on LV Blvd just before Cheyenne. I made my way in that direction and there is a small strip mall with a Bodega Furniture, laundromat, etc and I can see there is an auto shop behind the strip mall but it said Transmission shop and I wasn't sure, but decided to drive back there anyway and...WHOA!!! Behind the little strip mall is a larger strip with every car repair need that you can think of. Transmission, AC repair, Brakes, Struts, Window Tint, etc. I pulled my car into the garage that said wheel alignment and an older gentlemen quickly came to ask if I needed help. I told him I needed a wheel alignment and he said it'd be about 15 minutes and $40.00 bucks for the job. Less than 15 minutes later they pulled my car in to be serviced. I was watching them the entire time and after lifting my car the younger of the two gentlemen said they needed to show me something. Apparently, my left rear tire rod was badly bent and they'd need to straighten it out. They charged me an additional $60.00 bucks to do that. Overall, I am actually very pleased with their work and would absolutely consider having repairs done there in the future. The mechanic advised that I'll need my front and rear shock & strut assembly replaced soon. I already knew this, so I was pleased that they recognized a potential problem and shared it with me. They didnt try to sell me work that didn't exist. He quoted me $240.00 for the front and another $240.00 for the back, which includes parts and labor. This is actually a phenomenal price as I've done my research and the parts alone are about $200 each. I knocked off two stars for two reasons... 1.) They charged me $60.00 to reshape the bar and since I was there the entire time...I watched them reshape it and the entire process was less than 5mins. 2.) They only accept CASH, which is all kinds of bad.
