I have lived in Las Vegas for a long time. We did not have yoga studios when I moved here there were only a few hard to find teachers that taught in churches off hours and peoples houses. later came a period of studios that had asana as exercise for practitioners that were fit trendy and affluent.
For a long time the local culture did not acknowledge the spiritual side of yoga, it was all about attaining a sexy bod. That's okay and better than nothing but it missed the really big payoff of practice, which is mental health and happiness.
I'm so happy after stepping away for a while to revisit our yoga landscape and find this studio in our city that is spiritual, loving, non judgmental of your age income or fitness level. This is a great studio, please give it a try you wont' be disappointed.
