  • I stumbled upon this place about six months ago looking for a place to eat away from the bland offerings in Oakville. I spend time here in town on long stints on business. The food here is really good, along the lines of classic English pub food. Service is good and the bar tenders are attentive and friendly. Nice place to be. Tonight, I had the Landlords Chicken Curry. Acceptable spice heat for me. I enjoy spicy hot food. You might consider skipping the firm dollop of yogurt on top. Kinda out of place and off putting. I was here tonight on 19-MAr-18 for dinner and drinks. Nigel, the owner sat next to me to talk to another guy. He bought me a beer and essentially told me to shut-up because I was a Yankee, then made references to Donald Trump. Personally, I can say Donald Trump does not represent me as an American. I'm completely offended. I will not come here again.
