| - I was super excited to try this place since I loooove Nutella!!!
However, as cute as the concept is...the cafe was a bit of a disappointment for various reasons:
1) super slow service....perhaps I went at a bad time, but the staff seemed to be confused with who was doing what and who was in charge of whose order. Luckily, there was only 1 person in front of me, but due to the lack of efficiency, the line quickly grew afterwards. (Side note: the cashiers were very friendly)
2) they put WAYYY too much Nutella in their croissant and crepes. This may not sound like a bad thing, but it is possible to have too much Nutella. My husband ordered a Nutella croissant and after "squeezing" out half of the Nutella, he still couldn't eat more than 1/2 of it cuz it was too rich. I ordered the banana Nutella crepe, which was a bit better...but again, the Nutella was too overpowering. I think the amount of Nutella in our pastries combine was equivalent to 1/3 of a regular Nutella jar.
3) the "cafe" isn't much of a cafe. I think there were like 4? table at most....not much ambience either...more like a cafeteria/food court: you order, wait for it, then find a table and sit.
On a positive note, though...their coffee and hot chocolates are only $1! we ordered the hot chocolate and it was decent (nothing crazy epic) but for $1...not bad! Definitely better than a Tim Hortons' hot chocolate.
Prob will not go back again...even if I was in the area.
