After many years of wanting to try his pizza, finally got to the location at Camelback. I only gave it three stars mainly based on the high price for the pizza. I'll break it down by Crust, sauce and toppings.
Crust - Very good, nice char to it, light and pillowy.
Red sauce - very tasty tomatoes, a bit on the chunky side and a little too much on the Margherita which made some of the slices flop.
White pizza- good blend of oil olive and rosemary on the Rosa, loved he Pistachio and Parmesan cheese.
The Wiseguy pizza had flavorful onion and smoked mozzarella. The sausage was also tasty.
All said and done, the pizza is very good. Very comparable to La Piazza iL Forno in downtown Glendale but the high price is a turnoff in regards to being a routine place to dine at.
