  • One of those times you wish zero stars were an option. Sundance was my favorite theater, but I'm done with AMC. The switch over from Sundance rewards to AMC rewards has been a complete failure - their customer service team obviously was not trained in what was promised to former Sundance customers. After not receiving the free movie ticket promised I was offered $5 credit instead of a free ticket. I've called twice, emailed three times, and the last person I spoke with told me my request to have a supervisor call me back probably wouldn't be granted because AMC considers the issue solved. The low-key Sundance vibe has been replaced with in-your-face advertising throughout the whole lobby space; the fabulous Sundance drink & food menu has been replaced; and online ticket buying has fees now. Not impressed at all. I don't love the other theaters in Madison, but AMC is driving me straight into their arms.
