I brought my dog to Squaw Peak Animal Hospital on 8/31/12
We had been playing Frisbee in the yard when all of a sudden my dog lifted her back leg up and could not walk. So off we go to the hospital. My primary Vet was out of town so brought her to this Hospital. The Doctor said looking at the ex-ray that my dog sprained her knee. Well In fact 4 opinions and 7 weeks later of doctors telling me my dog needs knee surgery, I find out that my dog strained her Iliopsoas muscle. Nothing to do with her knee.
My dog has perfectly healthy knees. Had the first doctor diagnosed my dog correctly it would have saved me time, money and a lot of tears trying to help my dog. Thanks for nothing!!!
